You can show and hide toolbars, undock them, or move them to the top, bottom, or sides of your document.
To show or hide the Toolbox or a toolbar:
Choose Window > Toolbox or choose a toolbar from the Window > Toolbars submenu.
If the Toolbox or a toolbar is undocked, you can click the Close button at the top right of the title bar.
To undock the Toolbox or a toolbar:
1 | Move the current tool onto an area between tool buttons. The tool changes to the Pointer tool. |
2 | Drag the Toolbox or toolbar away from its docked location. The Toolbox or toolbar becomes a floating panel. |

To dock the Toolbox or a toolbar:
1 | Move the current tool onto the title bar. |
2 | Drag the Toolbox or toolbar onto a docking area anywhere along the application window's perimeter. |
